i know. i was so let down with the album. i was expecting an even better version of manipulator, or POTH. the new album is very meh, it seems like it lacks the energy that made S/T so great, the production of doppelganger, and the lack thereof in manipulator. the riffs are bland and uninspired, and the lyrics are just plain terrible on some songs. overall i was QUITE disappointed

I can play Mouths Like Sidewinder Missles now
Not as good sounding as the song cause there seem to be no tabs with the correct power chords at the beginning.

FCPSITSGEPGEPGEP anyone? Lets see… hardest song that I can play riffs from is Ex-Creations, I can paly the main riff and the solo but nothing after that. I suggest studying up on your mathcore material/wierdo time signatures before you try taking on some of the more complex songs.
Keep working hard guys and soon enough you’ll be as good as Tom (not really…)

sadly, it isnt. They’ve completely changed their style IMHO. They sound alot more Alt Rock influenced, and wayyyy more poppy. Oh and just so you know Thomas also changed his voice, that means no more of the high registered Thomas who was able to do the shrill singing that no one else could do, nope now its “the thomas who cant stay on key”. I still love them, just wish their album was less of a let down.

ahhh, good starter song. Your gosh darn good for being able to play that at 3 months in! I advise learning some of their early stuff first before you progress to say Mouths like Sidewinder Missles and most of the Dopplganger stuff. Try some of The 30 years War stuff. All it is is basically easier, earlier Fall of Troy with one more guitarist. Good Job man.
