Just got a new computer with windows 7 64 bit and Hoyle Casino 2010 won’t even install. The install program manages to freeze windows 7 and the only way out is a hard power cycle.
I even upgraded to Windows XP mode where it will install, but won’t run due to video problems.
This was a complete waste of money.

I like this game. I wanted to update my old Hoyle Casino game 2006. That game I wouldn’t have purchased if I knew that it would crash completely when you entered the back room tournaments. I wanted to get this game to eliminate that. Hoyle Casino 2010 seems to have all the bugs worked out. However it doesn’t pervide the online game play that I thought it would like one of the other Hoyle Casino game. This Hoyle Casino 2010 games provides array of unlockibles that you could obtain from completing curtain things inside the game. It provides the possibility of unlocking some character costumes none which I will mention. You could also buy some items that your created character can use to be seen while you play a casino table. Some of the items that are priced seem to be a little pricey. I think that this game could have used some online game play but maybe the next will. The AI seems to be perfect when it comes to making a decision about folding. However when you go all in be warned they will most likely fold but if you are bluffing also be warned they will wipe you out. I would say try to look for the weakest link and go after them. I think that this game is a particularly fun and challenging and maybe a good buy. Hoyle Casino can be easy to use and more so for poker for dummies. There is tutoring but not during tournaments. You can also tune the environment can be changed to were your comfortable. I have yet to learn to make it so for playing alone. I would recommend to purchase this game if you just want to lean back take a break and play some poker. If your already a poker fan and you haven’t already brought one in the past there’s nothing major new about this game other then the character changes and items to buy at the Hoyle Casino Shopping center with Hoyle Casino points.

Man! I wish I had read these reviews before I bought Hoyle Casino 2010! This game is terrible! The graphics are awful, the movement in the game is jerky and SLOW; it’s so frustrating! I can’t tell you how disappointed I am in this game. I own Hoyle Casino 2004, and loved it. I wish Sierra was still making Hoyle’s games, because this new game by Encore is a rip-off! Don’t waste your time or money buying this game. (Please Hoyle! Read and listen to these critiques! Get another company that was as good as Sierra to do your games right! I will never purchase another Hoyle game as long as I see Encore is producing them.)

I bought the 2010 versions of both Hoyle Card Games and Hoyle Casino. I have already expressed my dissatisfaction to Card Games in another review. The Casino keeps locking up my new IMAC requiring power down/up to recover. After putting up with this for a week, I’ve had it. Both are now uninstalled and in the trash where they belong. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON ANY HOYLE PRODUCTS.
